Dr. Patrick Ekye Kwesie, a Convention People's Party (CPP) Parliamentary Candidate hopeful for the Jomoro Constituency in the Western Region, has expressed his commitment to implementing strategic measures for the holistic development of the area.
Dr. Kwesie emphasized a focus on education, job creation, and infrastructural development to bring about socio-economic growth.
In an interview with the Ghana News Agency in Takoradi, Dr. Kwesie, an Industrial and Petroleum Management Expert, underscored the rich natural resources in the Jomoro constituency and outlined plans to leverage them for development.
He called for a departure from the National Democratic Congress and New Patriotic Party candidates, advocating for fresh ideas from the CPP to address development challenges.
“Over the years, the Jomoro constituency, like every other, had registered success stories as well as challenges and failings.
With a legacy of commitment to service, I will endeavor to lead my team to do the best we can to overcome all challenges when I am allowed to serve as a member of parliament for Jomoro,” stated Dr. Kwesie.
He promised to present a comprehensive manifesto outlining his vision for positive change in Jomoro. Dr. Kwesie urged CPP delegates to endorse his bid for the parliamentary candidacy, emphasizing the importance of unity within the party to increase its chances of winning the seat.
“We must put the past behind us to avoid sliding back into the mistakes we encountered in the constituency over the past years,” he added.
