The Bono Regional Minister, Madam Justina Owusu-Banahene, has called on the polling station, constituency, and regional executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to intensify their efforts in preparation for the 2024 elections.
She emphasized the need to secure victory in the presidential election and reclaim all previously lost parliamentary seats.
Madam Owusu-Banahene outlined the party's ambitious goal during an interaction with the media regarding the upcoming NPP primaries in the region.
The parliamentary primary, scheduled for Saturday, January 27, aims to elect candidates for the Party in the 2024 elections.
The Regional Minister highlighted the socio-economic development projects President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo's government initiated, noting that these initiatives have enhanced the party's standing and electoral prospects.
Despite the positive trajectory, she underscored the importance of hard work to “break the eight” and advised party supporters and executives to avoid complacency.
“The Election 2024 election is a historic one for the two main political parties in the country… we need to double our efforts to become victorious,” Madam Owusu-Banahene stated, urging the party to propagate its achievements effectively to the voter population.
