Dr. Kumah's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with Philosophy from the , a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Law) LLB, and a Professional Law Certificate from the . He was admitted to the Ghana Bar in 2013.

Before joining the government, Dr. Kumah founded Aduaprokye Chambers, a law firm, and Majak Associates Ltd, a building and construction company, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to national development.
