The Ministry expressed deep sorrow over the loss of the Member of Parliament for Ejisu, reflecting on his gentle soul and wishing him eternal rest in the bosom of the Lord.
Dr. Kumah, a legal practitioner and lawmaker, leaves behind a wife and six children. His sudden passing cast a solemn atmosphere over the Ministry, where he had served diligently.
Throughout his career, Dr. Kumah made significant contributions, serving on various parliamentary committees and playing a pivotal role as the first CEO of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP). Under his leadership, NEIP supported numerous start-ups and entrepreneurs, contributing to Ghana's entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Dr. Kumah's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with Philosophy from the University of Ghana, a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Law) LLB, and a Professional Law Certificate from the Ghana School of Law. He was admitted to the Ghana Bar in 2013.
Before joining the government, Dr. Kumah founded Aduaprokye Chambers, a law firm, and Majak Associates Ltd, a building and construction company, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to national development.
