Ghana's U-20 women's team, the Black Princesses, secured a spot in the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup with a convincing 5-1 victory over Senegal in the second leg of the final round fixture at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The Black Princesses entered the game with a 2-0 advantage from the first leg and continued their dominance to win 5-1 in the second leg, resulting in a 7-1 aggregate score. Maafia Nyame, Tracey Twum, and Salamatu Abdulai scored for Ghana, while Beline Nyako contributed a brace to seal the team's seventh consecutive FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup appearance.
Coach Yussif Basigi's team displayed hunger and determination, maintaining an unbeaten run in the qualifying series.
