CAF Confederation Cup Inexperience caused our defeat-Dreams FC Coach  

Abdul Karim Zito, the Head Coach of , attributed his team's defeat against Zamalek SC to inexperience following their 3-0 loss in the second leg of the semifinal clash at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Addressing the media in a post-match conference, Zito expressed disappointment at his team's inability to match up to their opponents, emphasizing a lack of mental toughness among his players.

“It's lack of experience. The boys only gave up after the third goal. I can do everything but if the players are not mentally stable there is nothing you can do,” Zito lamented.

Despite creating numerous chances, struggled to find the net, further highlighting their inexperienced squad's shortcomings in crucial moments.

However, Zito commended his team for their determination to fight for a spot in the finals despite being considered underdogs. He urged Ghanaians to dismiss speculations that fear gripped the players due to the crowd.

“It's not stage fright; if that was the case, it would have affected us in Cairo. My boys never thought we could get into this situation. In Cairo, the atmosphere was bigger than today,” Zito clarified.

While the loss was a setback for Dreams FC, Zito remains hopeful that his team will learn from the experience and come back stronger in future competitions.
