Addressing the second edition of the Africa Prosperity Dialogues 2024 at the Peduase Lodge in the Eastern Region, President Akufo-Addo stressed the importance of inclusive discussions representative of all sectors crucial for Africa's prosperity.

He highlighted the significance of sustainable farming practices and targeted investments in innovation and technology, particularly in agribusiness and industry, to bolster production and ensure resilience in the face of global challenges and climate change.
President Akufo-Addo commended Africa's private sector for its readiness to champion the continent's development agenda and underscored the importance of efficient transport infrastructure, streamlined trade processes, and digital technology adoption to unlock the full potential of trade for prosperity.
Acknowledging the Africa Continental Free Trade Area (AFCFTA) as a catalyst for economic growth, the President urged stakeholders to promote cross-border transactions and facilitate the free movement of people, products, and services across the continent.
He lauded the Africa Prosperity Dialogues as a vital platform for fostering dialogue and commitment towards AFCFTA goals, urging participants to work diligently towards achieving them.
Mr. Joaquim Alberto Chissano, former President of Mozambique, echoed the need for African leaders to collaborate in addressing development challenges hindering the continent's progress.
Mr. Njack Kane, acting CEO of the Africa Prosperity Network Secretariat, outlined the program's strategic objectives, including comprehensive dialogue, regional integration, inclusiveness, and sharing best practices.
