President Nana Addo Dankwa has commended the New Patriotic Party () for the smooth conduct of its parliamentary primaries, emphasizing the need for hard work to secure victory in the upcoming 2024 elections.

In a statement, the President congratulated the elected parliamentary candidates, expressing confidence in their ability to contribute to securing a majority in the ninth of the Fourth Republic.

He also extended his appreciation to all participants, reminding the losing candidates that in elections, there are both winners and losers, with hope for future success.

President stressed the importance of unity within the party, highlighting the tradition of unwavering support for victors by those not successful at the polls.

He urged party members to rally behind the Party's Presidential Candidate and parliamentary candidates to ensure a resounding victory in 2024.

Emphasizing the Party's commitment to progress and prosperity for all regions of the country, the President underscored the significance of maintaining the Danquah-Dombo-Busia political tradition, describing it as the greatest and most enduring in Ghana's politics.

President Akufo-Addo reiterated the Party's dedication to democracy and the rule of law, calling on members to conduct themselves appropriately and uphold the values of the Party.

The successful parliamentary primaries set the stage for an intriguing contest in the impending General Election, slated for January 07, 2025.
