Dr. Tenkorang-Twum urged the new executives to lead with humility and dedication, reminding them of the privilege entrusted to them by their peers.
Addressing the members of the association, Mr. Panzin expressed gratitude for the trust placed in the new executive board and pledged to uphold the association's objectives. He outlined the mandate of the executive board, which includes implementing the five-year strategic plan led by President Mrs. Perpetual Ofori-Ampofo. The strategic plan, set to conclude in December 2024, encompasses five key thematic areas: leadership and governance, education and research, communication and campaigns, welfare, and health policy influence.
The inauguration of the new executive board marks a significant moment for the GRNMA in the Upper East Region, signalling a renewed commitment to advancing the interests of nurses and midwives while promoting excellence in healthcare delivery. With a clear mandate and strategic vision in place, the association is poised to make meaningful contributions to the healthcare sector and the well-being of its members.
