Mr. Samuel Nartey George, the Member of (MP) representing Ningo-Prampram and the Lead Sponsor of the “Promotion of Proper Human Sexual Rights and Ghanaian Family Values Bill, 2022,” has voiced frustration over the challenges faced in advancing the Bill through the consideration stage in .

The primary aim of the Bill is to establish guidelines for proper Human Sexual Rights and Ghanaian Family Values, specifically targeting activities associated with the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (+) community.

Anticipated to proceed through the consideration stage on Wednesday, December 6, the parliamentary process hit a snag due to the absence of Mr. Kwame Ayimadu-Antwi, the Chairman of the Constitutional Legal and Committee.

Expressing his disappointment shortly after the House adjourned to Thursday, December 7, Mr. George addressed the Parliamentary Press Corps, highlighting the sponsors' frustration with the third consecutive delay in advancing the Bill through the consideration stage.
