MP cuts sod for construction of CHPS Compound at Santaso 

Mr. Emmanuel , the Member of (MP) for , has taken a significant step towards improving healthcare accessibility in the constituency by initiating the construction of an ultra-modern Community-Based Health Planning and Services () centre in Santaso, located in the northern part of the District.

The sod-cutting ceremony to mark the commencement of the project reflects Mr Buah's dedication to enhancing healthcare services and making them easily accessible to residents across the constituency. The new health facility aims to address the challenges faced by community members in remote areas, particularly in the Aiyinasi North hinterlands, who currently endure long and costly journeys to access medical care.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr Buah, who also serves as the Deputy Minority Leader in , emphasized the importance of the centre in bringing essential healthcare services closer to the people. Upon completion, the facility will eliminate the need for residents to travel long distances, thereby saving time and resources while ensuring timely medical interventions when necessary.
