Mr. Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ellembelle, has taken a significant step towards improving healthcare accessibility in the constituency by initiating the construction of an ultra-modern Community-Based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) centre in Santaso, located in the northern part of the Ellembelle District.
The sod-cutting ceremony to mark the commencement of the project reflects Mr Buah's dedication to enhancing healthcare services and making them easily accessible to residents across the constituency. Speaking at the ceremony, Mr Buah, who also serves as the Deputy Minority Leader in Parliament, emphasized the importance of the CHPS centre in bringing essential healthcare services closer to the people. Upon completion, the facility will eliminate the need for residents to travel long distances, thereby saving time and resources while ensuring timely medical interventions when necessary.

He reassured constituents of his dedication to fulfilling his pledge to enhance the quality and accessibility of healthcare services throughout the constituency.
Additionally, Mr Buah urged community members to prioritize sanitation and maintain a hygienic environment to prevent the spread of diseases. By promoting sanitation sustainability, residents can contribute to maintaining their health and well-being, complementing the efforts to improve healthcare infrastructure in the area.
