Mr. Cyril Kwabena Oteng Nsiah, the Clerk to Ghana's Parliament, has been unanimously elected as the Chairman of the Society of Clerks-At-The-Table (SOCATT) in Commonwealth Parliaments.
This historic election occurred during the 66th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference currently underway in Accra.
In his acceptance speech, Mr. Nsiah expressed his gratitude to his colleagues for their trust and confidence in him for this prestigious role.
He pledged to dedicate his efforts to uphold and enhance the esteemed reputation of SOCATT.
The Society of Clerks-at-the-Table in Commonwealth Parliaments plays a vital role in making parliamentary practices across the Commonwealth more accessible to Clerks-at-the-Table and those with similar responsibilities in various legislatures.
