The Ghana Bodybuilding and Fitness Association (GBFA) has appointed Mr. Eric Amoako Twum to lead the national team management committee, known as the Black Muscles. Mr. Twum brings over 25 years of experience in marketing, project management, and investment promotion to the role.
Mr Twum's professional background includes roles with Millicom Ghana (Tigo), Nestle Ghana, One Africa Media, and Orange Telecom in the United Kingdom, where he served as Brand Manager. He also worked as Deputy Chief Executive Officer at the Ghana Export Promote Authority and served as a government spokesperson at the Ministry of Information. Additionally, Mr. Twum has experience as a communications specialist in the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
His mandate, along with the team, is to ensure the smooth participation of Ghana's national bodybuilding team, the Black Muscles, in both international and local bodybuilding competitions. The appointment reflects the association's focus on enhancing its management capabilities and fostering success in competitive events.
