Mrs. Afua Asantewaa Aduonum, Chief Executive Officer of ASKOF Productions, is set to embark on a unique endeavor to break the Guinness World Record for the longest singing time, currently held by India's Sunil Waghmare at 105 hours.
In a recent social media post, Madam Asantewaa revealed her ambitious plan to sing for 117 consecutive hours, aiming to achieve this feat by exclusively performing Ghanaian songs.
She stated, “I am looking at doing 117 hours to break this record, and I am making this attempt by promoting and doing only Ghanaian songs from gospel, Highlife, and Hiplife, among others. The attempt is going to happen this December.”
If successful, Afua Asantewaa Aduonum would become the fifth Ghanaian to secure a place in the Guinness Book of World Records. Her dedication to this feat aligns with her notable contributions to various successful productions in Ghana, including the Ghana Outstanding Women's Award, Pose for Africa, Miss Kidi, and Sports Arena, among others.
