The Moroccan national futsal team secured victory in the Futsal African Cup of Nations (AFCON 2024) for the third consecutive time, clinching the title after a remarkable 5-1 triumph over Angola in the final held at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Hall in Rabat.
In response to this impressive achievement, His Majesty King Mohammed VI conveyed a message of heartfelt congratulations to the members of the national futsal team.
In his message, His Majesty the King extended warm felicitations to the national futsal team for their triumph in the 7th Futsal Africa Cup of Nations, which was graciously hosted by the capital of the Kingdom with exceptional hospitality and organization.
His Majesty expressed profound pride in the unwavering determination demonstrated by the team members in securing their third consecutive continental title, showcasing exemplary patriotism and a sincere commitment to advancing Moroccan football and sports.
The Sovereign reiterated his congratulations to the national team members and all technical and administrative staff of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, praying for the Almighty to grant them continued success and accolades during the upcoming 2024 World Cup in Uzbekistan. As per the tournament's format, the top three teams in the Futsal African Cup of Nations have earned coveted berths at the Futsal World Cup, scheduled to take place in Uzbekistan from September 14 to October 6.
