With one match left to end the first round, the Women's Premier League (WPL) promises to be more intriguing as Army Ladies, who are sixth in the Southern Zone welcome struggling Immigration Ladies to the El-Wak Sports Stadium on Wednesday.

 Coach Norbert Ayinbire's Army Ladies, having grabbed nine points this season after eight matches, would be hoping for redemption against Immigration ladies after losing 2-1 to Sea Lions last weekend.

 Army Ladies began the season poorly, losing four games and winning three, and would need the Immigration Ladies encounter to bounce to winning ways.

 Visitors, Immigration Ladies, who have not been able to put up an impressive performance so far would also battle the home side in search of their first win after eight weeks of action. 

Coach Joseph Badger's Immigration Ladies are currently placed at the bottom in the Southern Zone with five points behind Army Ladies who have also won only three matches this season. 

 This would be the first time the two teams clash in the WPL, but per records, Army Ladies looks favourite to win the game but will need to conquer the sterling performance of Immigration Ladies' goalie Mary Neequaye who was superb in the team's 3-2 defeat to Lady strikers.

Elmina's Sea Lions, who defeated Army Ladies last weekend, would once again push for yet another three points as they take a trip to the La Mcdan La Town Park on Tuesday to play Police Ladies.

 Coach Frank Sam's Police Ladies are just a single point ahead of Sea Lions, who are also eight on the league table, losing two matches this season.

  champions, Hasaacas Ladies who are unbeaten after eight matches would continue their quest for glory as they visit the Carl Reindolf Park to play Thunder Queens on Monday.

Coach Yussif Basigi's side would hope to maintain their winning streak as they clash with resurgent Thunder Queens who are five points behind the league leaders. 

Thunder Queens after suffering a heavy defeat to Hasaacas Ladies last season, would be hoping for revenge as they close the five points lead and also pick up their fourth win of the season. Thunder Queens drew 1-1 with Berry ladies last weekend.

 At the Robert Mensah Stadium in , high-flying Lady strikers would welcome fifth-place Berry Ladies to battle it out in search of their sixth win this season.

Lady strikers have been unbeaten in their last two matches and would be hoping to extend their unbeaten run coming into this game with Berry Ladies, who have also secured 11 points after eight games played with two wins.

 Soccer Intellectuals would be on the road as they face Edna Quagraine's Faith Ladies at the Adu Yaw Asassan Park on Sunday. Faith Ladies, who are currently placed fourth in the Southern Zone would hope to grab all three points once again having defeated Police Ladies 2-0 in their last game.

 In the Northern Zone, the Bantama AstroTurf would witness Fabulous Ladies, who have been solid this season battle it out with their arch-rivals Ashtown Ladies on Saturday.

Head Coach of Fabulous Ladies, Prince Acheampong once again would want to amass all points after thrashing Pearl Pia Ladies last weekend.

Fabulous Ladies have been unbeaten in their last four games and would be looking forward to extending their unbeaten run as they play Ashtown Ladies who gave Northern Ladies their fourth defeat last week.  

Fabulous Ladies' Princess Owusu who is currently the leading goal scorer with seven goals would also aim to extend her lead.

 Northern Zone leaders, Ampem Darkoa Ladies would be in action against struggling FC at the Aliu Mahama Stadium on Friday whilst fourth place Dreamz Ladies travel all the way to to play Prisons, Ladies, at the Sunyani Coronation Park on Saturday

Dreamz Ladies' Stella Nyamekye, who recently won the January Player of the Month award, would be a threat to Prisons Ladies who are still finding it hard to gain their feet this season.

Prisons Ladies managed to hold Ampem Darkoa last week and would be hoping to grab another point going into the game against Dreamz Ladies.

Sixth-place Sports Academy Ladies would welcome bottom-placed Northern Ladies to the Bantama AstroTurf on Saturday. The home team has been unbeaten in their last three matches and would be looking forward to maintaining their form going into this game with Northern Ladies, who are yet to win a single match this season.
