The National Communications Authority (NCA) has issued a statement notifying the public about widespread disruptions in both Mobile and Fixed Data services across the nation due to multiple undersea cable faults.
The disruptions, which have impacted international traffic, originated from incidents in Senegal, Cote D'Ivoire, and partially in Portugal. As a result, data services have experienced a significant decline in quality throughout the country.
Despite the challenges, Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) have implemented contingency measures and are diligently working to restore full services. They have also taken steps to inform affected customers through various communication channels.
The NCA reassures the public that it is closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates as the situation progresses.
