The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced plans to officially introduce its Running Mate for the upcoming 2024 General Election. The ceremony is scheduled to take place in Accra next week, specifically on Wednesday, April 24th, 2024, at the Kofi Ohene Konadu Auditorium located at the University of Professional Studies (UPSA).
Commencing at 4:00 PM sharp, the event will bring together a host of guests, including His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, the NDC's Flag-bearer for the 2024 General Election, members of the Functional Executive Committee, and the Council of Elders of the party. Additionally, members of Parliament and various distinguished guests from sectors such as the Diplomatic Corps, the Clergy, Women Groups, academia, Civil Society Organizations, Labour Organizations, and the Creative Arts industry will be in attendance.
The highlight of the event will be an address by the Running Mate, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, who will outline the NDC's vision for a progressive, inclusive, and prosperous Ghana, as well as the transformative policies advocated by their visionary Flag-bearer for the upcoming elections.
Prior to the main program at 5:00 PM, there will be a series of activities starting from 4:00 PM to 4:55 PM. Attendees are reminded to be seated by 4:00 PM sharp.
