National Theatre announces lineup for the month of August

The Movie Thursday programme, which comes off on the last Thursday of every month would see films from young producers screened for free come August 25, 2022. The “Ayiyii” programme makes a comeback this month on August 27-28 as audiences would be thrilled with the total theatre of intriguing drama, dance and music.

The National Theatre of Ghana has announced a series of intriguing programmes for the month of August.

The Talk Party programme, which is held on the first Thursday of every month, takes centre stage on August 4, 2022, which happens to be Founders' Day.

The Talk Party is a poetry recital show which is held at the National Theatre in collaboration with Ehalakasa and features young and upcoming poets and students. 

The trademark Wednesday Theatre, in collaboration with “2 Idiots” Productions, continues this month and would come on August 31, 2022.

The theatre show, which happens on the last Thursday of every month, features some top-notch stage drama craft from some of Ghana's finest actors.
