Daniel Laryea and Bridget Nartey emerged victorious in the 2024 Champions Bowl Wheelchair Tennis competition held at the Accra Sports Stadium Tennis Court on Saturday.
In an impressive display of skill and determination, Daniel Laryea secured the title by defeating Razak Nuhu with a score of 6-1, 6-2. Meanwhile, Bridget Nartey, representing the Koforidua-based Sports Club, clinched the title by defeating Stacy Konadu with a score of 6-2, 6-2.
In the battle for the third and fourth positions, Maclean Atsu Dzidzienyo emerged victorious over Isaac Tagoe with a score of 6-2, 6-2.
Dr. Henry Larbi, Coordinator for the Ghana Wheelchair Tennis Federation, expressed his gratitude to all the participants and encouraged them to continue their training as there would be upcoming competitions in the future.
