About 2,500 professionals in the packaging, plastics, processing, and print industries are anticipated to gather at the second edition of the international exhibition and conference known as ‘Propak Ghana 2024.’ Scheduled to take place from April 23 to 25, 2024, at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Centre, the event aims to connect over one hundred brands from around the world.
A press release issued to the Ghana News Agency on Tuesday in Accra detailed that the event will feature a series of discussions involving leaders and innovators from various sectors. These discussions are designed to initiate meaningful conversations within the industry and its related services.
The first day of the event will encompass a diverse array of companies and sessions covering topics such as smarter packaging, packaging innovation, the influence of digital printing on branding and labeling, and opportunities in sustainable packaging in Ghana. On the second day, in collaboration with strategic partners KPMG, the theme will revolve around ‘Winning with Sustainability.’ Sessions will delve into topics like ‘Thriving with Sustainable Finance’ and ‘Empowering Sustainable Innovation.’
The third and final day, led by Africa Trade Academy, will host an Executive Masterclass covering branding, packaging, labeling, opportunities for export marketing, and the African Continental Free Trade Area, among other subjects.
Top brands from across the globe are set to showcase their products and services at the event. Notable participants include Resitech, Kane-Em Industries, Tinpack Industries, and Finepack Industries. Additionally, companies like Almassa for Recycling from Egypt, Casfil from Portugal, Elecster Oyj from Finland, Royal Kaak from the Netherlands, and Windmoeller & Holscher from Germany will be in attendance.
The Mohinani Group has been named as the Headline Sponsor, while Jaykay Global Industries and Tetrapak West Africa are recognized as Gold Sponsors. The event is organized by Afrocet Montgomery, a branch of the Montgomery Group, one of the UK’s oldest established exhibitions and events companies, originally founded in 1895.
