President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has made immediate changes to the Regional Ministerial positions in the Upper East and Upper West regions. The reshuffle, announced by the Communications Directorate of the Office of the President, entails the swap of ministers between the two regions.
According to the statement released, Stephen Yakubu, who previously served as the Upper East Regional Minister, will now assume the role of Upper West Regional Minister. In a corresponding move, Hafiz Bin Salih, the former Upper West Regional Minister, has been appointed as the new Upper East Regional Minister.
The statement emphasized that these changes are part of the President's ongoing efforts to ensure effective governance across the country. President Akufo-Addo has urged the newly appointed Ministers to dedicate themselves to the promotion of welfare and development in their respective regions.
