Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), is set to kick off his nationwide campaign tour on Monday, April 29, starting from the Eastern Region. The tour, spanning all 275 constituencies across the 16 regions, will continue until the first week of June.

Under the theme “Bold Solutions for our Future,” Dr. Bawumia's campaign will focus on three key pillars: the battle of ideas and character, the battle of records, and the battle of effective campaign. The emphasis will be on issue-based discussions, offering practical and tailored solutions to address the concerns of the Ghanaian people.

According to Mr. Dennis Miracles Aboagye, the Director of Communication for the Bawumia Campaign, the presidential candidate will engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including traditional rulers, clergy, youth groups, traders, drivers, farmers, students, businesses, and associations. He plans to visit market centers and other public places to listen to the concerns of both traders and consumers.

The campaign will feature interactions with the media, town hall meetings, and ongoing stakeholder engagements across the country. Dr. Bawumia has been actively consulting various groups since his election as the NPP Flagbearer in November 2023, alongside fulfilling his duties as Ghana's Vice President.

The statement highlighted Dr. Bawumia's confidence, backed by strong grassroots support and enthusiasm within the NPP. It emphasized the importance of electing a leader with high standards of character, performance, work ethic, vision, and integrity, especially as Ghana moves into the next phase of development.

The campaign aims to harness this energy and preparedness within the NPP for the upcoming contest, ensuring that the party's message of bold solutions resonates with the Ghanaian electorate.
