To bolster emergency response capabilities, Professor Titus K. Beyuo, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Lambussie Constituency, has made a significant donation to the district's ambulance and fire services. Valued at GH¢ 20,500.00, the donation included vehicle tyres, two brand new batteries, and a water pumping generator.
The Lambussie District Ambulance Service received a set of new tyres, addressing a pressing need that had left the only ambulance grounded for over three months. Additionally, the District Fire Service benefitted from a new fire tender and a generator, essential for water pumping operations.
The initiative followed requests from both emergency service providers, underscoring the critical importance of reliable equipment in saving lives during crises. Speaking at the donation ceremony, Professor Beyuo, represented by Mr. David Boon, Lambussie Constituency Organizer for the NDC, emphasized the urgency of restoring operational capacity to the emergency services.
