The New Patriotic Party () Regional Secretariat has issued an urgent directive to address escalating tensions within the constituency.

In a press release dated April 8, 2024, the Regional Secretary, Tony Osei-Adjei, outlined measures aimed at resolving internal conflicts impacting party cohesion.

The directive, directed to key party stakeholders including the Regional Steering Committee, Constituency Executives, Member of (MP), Parliamentary Candidate, Constituency Council of Elders and Patrons, and Municipal Chief Executive of Suhum, outlines the following actions:

  1. Postponement of MP’s Sala Gala: The impending Sala Gala organized by the Member of Parliament has been postponed indefinitely due to unresolved issues among party supporters.
  2. Suspension of MP’s New Projects: All new projects initiated by the MP have been suspended until further notice, as part of efforts to address internal discord.

A crucial meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, April 10th, 2024, at 2:00 pm at the Residency-. This meeting aims to bring together all mentioned stakeholders to address the underlying issues affecting party unity within the constituency.
