Lynx Entertainment, representatives of Ghanaian musician Kuami Eugene, have reassured the public that the artiste is alive and currently receiving treatment after being involved in a car accident.
Reports emerged indicating that the popular musician, known as the “Rockstar,” was involved in an unfortunate collision on Sunday evening along the N1 Highway, where his car collided with a tipper truck. Distressing photos of the aftermath of the crash circulated online, sparking concern and well-wishes from Ghanaians, particularly on social media platforms.
In response to the concerns, Lynx Entertainment released a statement confirming Kuami Eugene’s involvement in the accident and providing an update on his condition.
“Lynx Entertainment wishes to inform the public that singer Kuami Eugene is alive and currently receiving treatment following a car crash on Sunday, March 17, 2024. Our artiste sustained some injuries together with one passenger but is currently responding to treatment.
“We appreciate the outpouring of love from fans, media, and the general public, but we plead that the artiste is given much space at the moment as he begins his recovery,” the statement read.
As Kuami Eugene undergoes treatment, fans and well-wishers are encouraged to respect his privacy and allow him the necessary time and space to recuperate.
