Afua Asantewaa Aduonum, the Ghanaian lady who embarked on a remarkable sing-a-thon attempt to break the Guinness World Record, has officially submitted the final evidence for review.
In an interview with Graphic Online, Afua Asantewaa confirmed that the evidence was submitted on Saturday, January 6, 2024, expressing optimism for a positive response in the coming days.
The sing-a-thon journey commenced on Sunday, December 24, 2023, captivating Ghanaians with melodious tunes and heartfelt performances.
Mrs. Asantewaa Aduonum showcased her vocal prowess in a marathon of soulful renditions, surpassing the previous record of 105 hours set by Indian Sunil Waghmare in 2012.
Despite initially planning for a 117-hour effort, the extraordinary singing endeavor extended into the early hours of the sixth day, concluding with Mrs. Asantewaa Aduonum singing for an impressive 126 hours and 52 minutes.
