Chef Failatu Abdul-Razak, who recently completed a successful Guinness World Record attempt for the longest cooking marathon in Tamale, has expressed disappointment over the absence of Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Samini, and other popular Ghanaian musicians during the 10-day event.
Despite initial hints from Shatta Wale on Facebook about attending the Cook-A-Thon, none of the mentioned artists showed up throughout the 10-day event.
Chef Failatu, in an interview on Joy Prime's Prime Morning, lamented the absence of these musicians, stating, “Not a single big musician showed up for North on this project. It was Kwabena Kwabena who passed through.”
Although Chef Failatu is willing to forgive and let go, she emphasises that an apology is necessary. She stated, “They need to proceed to the Ya Na with a cow each before we can accept the apology.”
Chef Failatu completed her Guinness World Record attempt, clocking 227 hours, 00 minutes, and 02 seconds. Guinness World Records, after approving her application, directed her to break Irish Chef Alan Fisher's 119 hours and 57 minutes record.
Meanwhile, celebrities such as SDKDele, Kwaku Manu, Yaw Dabo, Nana Donkor Arthur, and Sweet Adjeley were present at the event.
Chef Failatu's feat came shortly after media personality Afua Asantewaa concluded her 5-day longest singing marathon, which attracted a host of celebrities.
Impressive feat, she’s done well
