The Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Ghana (EPCG), has extended heartfelt congratulations to Miss Selorm Magdalene Gafah, a teacher and member of the Christian Youth Builders of the Church, for being crowned Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB) 2023.
Miss Gafah emerged victorious in a fiercely contested pageant on Sunday, securing a car, 15,000 cedis, a trip to Dubai, and other attractive prizes.
Reverend Dr. Lawson Kwaku Dzanku, Clerk of the General Assembly, EPCG, commended Miss Gafah for her outstanding performance.
“On behalf of the General Assembly Council of the Church and the entire membership of the Church, I wish to convey our heartwarming congratulations to our dear daughter and friend, Selorm, for emerging as the overall winner of this enviable crown,” he stated.
“The entire Church is proud to associate with your fiercely fought victory.”
Rev. Dr. Dzanku also expressed appreciation for the effort and hard work that Miss Gafah had dedicated to her preparation for the pageant, acknowledging her commitment, fortitude, and perseverance.
Selorm’s victory has not only brought honor to the Church but has also brightened the smiles of the entire Volta Region, after a 13-year wait.
The “can-do spirit” demonstrated by Selorm serves as an inspiration and example to all. The Church wished her success in her future endeavors.
The GMB 2023 grand finale featured five contestants representing different regions, including Selorm (Volta Region), Naa Ayeley (Greater Accra), Kwartemaa (Bono Region), Aduanege (Upper East), and Nurah (Northern Region).
