The Ebenezer Congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana at Sefwi-Asawinso, under the Sefwi Presbytery, has commissioned nine members as Presbyters to assist in the church's day-to-day administration for the next four years.
Comprising five males and four females, these Presbyters underwent a nomination, vetting, and election process in accordance with the Church's constitution.
The Reverend Vincent Kpakpah, Asawinso District and Resident Minister of the Presbyterian Church urged the newly commissioned Presbyters to exemplify the teachings of the church through their lives.
He emphasized their responsibilities, including visiting the sick, participating in church services, and supporting the less fortunate in society.
Rev. Kpakpah encouraged a spirit of peace and humility among Christians, emphasizing the importance of serving others.
According to the Church's constitution, Madam Comfort Ohene Obour was elected as the Senior Presbyter.
Speaking on behalf of the other members, she expressed their commitment to diligently carry out their duties to advance the teachings of the church.
