Asante Kotoko secured a thrilling 3-2 victory against archrivals Accra Hearts of Oak in their match week 14 clash at the Baba Yara Stadium. The match showcased a spectacular performance from both sides, with Hearts of Oak initially taking the lead.
A brace from Steve Dese Mukwala and another goal by Isaac Oppong secured the win for Kotoko. Despite a late goal by Martin Karikari for Hearts of Oak, it was not enough to turn the tide.
Hearts of Oak, playing as the home team at Baba Yara Stadium, opened the scoring with a beautiful header from Linda Mtange. However, Kotoko responded just before halftime with Isaac Oppong equalizing.
