The management of Citi FM/Citi TV has officially commenced the construction of a clinic in Mepe, located in the North Tongu district. The project aims to provide essential healthcare facilities to meet the local community's health needs.
During the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Samuel Attah-Mensah, the Managing Director of Citi FM and Citi TV, affirmed the commitment to completing the health facility within two and a half months.
He urged stakeholders and the people of Mepe to support the project, stating, “We want to assure you that within two and a half months, we will deliver a clinic that will stand as a testament to our commitment to community development.”
Mr. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the Member of Parliament (MP) of North Tongu, commended the management of Citi FM and Citi TV for their support.
He expressed optimism that the intervention from the media house would significantly address the health challenges faced by the residents.
Mr. Michael Kofi Ziga, the Health Director for the district, outlined plans to implement a 24-hour service upon the completion of the project, ensuring continuous healthcare accessibility for the community.
Togbe Kwasi Nego VI, the Mankralo of Mepe, expressed gratitude to Citi FM/TV management and called on corporate Ghana to continue supporting such initiatives.
