The Ghana Police Service has made an arrest in connection with the murder of Dr Christopher Adu Boahen in Accra. The suspect, identified as Mark Forson, was apprehended following a complaint from relatives of the deceased, who reported finding Dr. Adu Boahen dead in his room under suspicious circumstances on March 17, 2024.
According to a statement issued by Assistant Commissioner of Police Grace Ansah-Akrofi, Director of Public Affairs, a team of police investigators and crime scene experts promptly visited the scene to initiate an investigation. As a result, the suspect was taken into custody, and further inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
The statement assured that the suspect would be brought before the court as the investigation progresses.
