Mr. Kennedy Kwasi Kankam, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Asokore Mampong, has expressed satisfaction with the ongoing development projects in the area, emphasizing the commitment of the Assembly to ensuring value for money and timely project completion.
In a statement to journalists following an inspection of selected projects alongside key stakeholders, Mr Kankam highlighted the Assembly's dedication to monitoring and overseeing the progress of all projects.
The MCE's inspection covered 43 projects at various stages, including completed and ongoing initiatives.
Among the completed projects were the new administration block for the Assembly, the new fire station for the Ghana National Fire Service, the renovated old Assembly block, the Municipal Coordinating Director's (MCD) completed bungalow, and the bungalow for the Municipal Director of Education.
Additionally, staff bungalows for teachers, health personnel, and the Assembly were completed.
Mr Kankam also examined various completed toilet facilities, including an eight-seat facility at the Asokore-Mampong market, 11-seater facilities at Parkoso JHS and SHS, a five-seat facility for Buoban Clinic, and a 15-seater facility for the Ibadul Rahman SHS.
Furthermore, ongoing projects such as the Kayayei hostel at Akwatialine (40% complete) and the municipal Agenda 111 hospital project (25% complete) were inspected.
The MCE applauded the contractors for their commendable work and urged them to maintain the standard of quality while ensuring timely project delivery.
He specifically commended completed projects, such as the new administration block and fire station, which significantly contribute to the enhancement of municipal facilities.
The ongoing construction of mechanized boreholes with metal stands and water storage tanks in various communities within the Asokore-Mampong area was also inspected.
