Two individuals convicted of robbing and raping a married woman at gunpoint in Oyibi during a robbery operation have been sentenced to 45 years imprisonment each by an Adentan Circuit Court.
The convicts, identified as Kelvin Logan Lonny Bless, 28, and Eric Ahenbi Laryea, 26, both electricians, faced charges of conspiracy to commit crime and robbery.
The court handed down concurrent sentences of 25 years for conspiracy to commit a crime and 45 years for robbery. Meanwhile, Prince Djentuh Selorm Kofi was acquitted and discharged on the charge of abetment of crime.
