NPP delegation pays condolence visit to late Kwadwo Yeboah-Fordjour's family

The Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (), Mr. Kwame Baffoe, has led a delegation of the party to extend condolences to the family of the late Kwadwo Yeboah-Fordjour. The former Chairman of the party in the then Brong Region passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024, after a brief illness.

The delegation, comprising prominent figures from the , aimed to express sympathies and offer support to the bereaved family during this difficult time. Mr. Baffoe was joined by Mr. , the Minister of , and the Member of for West, along with Madam Justina Owusu-Banahene, the Bono Regional Minister. Also present were Mr John Ansu Kumi, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Mr Andrews Bediako, the Jaman South MCE, regional and constituency executives of the NPP, and several party supporters.

During the visit, Mr. Baffoe conveyed condolences on behalf of the party and the President, recognizing and appreciating the late chairman's valuable contributions. He assured the family of the NPP's commitment to providing support for a dignified burial.

The bereaved family expressed gratitude for the visit and condolences. As of now, they have not set a date for the one-week observance, final funeral rites, and interment of the late Kwadwo Yeboah-Fordjour.

The visit by the NPP delegation serves as a testament to the party's acknowledgement of the late chairman's dedication and contributions to the party. The NPP remains committed to standing by the family and honouring the memory of Kwadwo Yeboah-Fordjour with a befitting farewell.
