President John Dramani Mahama, accompanied by the First Lady, Mrs. Lordina Dramani Mahama, has successfully concluded a three-day State Visit to the Republic of Zambia.
The President and his delegation were seen off at the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka by the President of Zambia, His Excellency Hakainde Hichilema, and the First Lady, Mrs. Mutinta Hichilema, marking the formal end of the high-level visit.

The State Visit culminated in the signing of ten (10) Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) between Ghana and Zambia, covering a range of key strategic sectors. The agreements are expected to deepen bilateral cooperation, enhance economic ties, and promote mutual development between the two countries.
During the visit, President Mahama engaged in bilateral discussions with President Hichilema, focusing on strengthening diplomatic relations, expanding trade and investment opportunities, and fostering collaboration in areas of shared interest.
The successful conclusion of the visit underscores Ghana’s commitment to strengthening regional partnerships and advancing South–South cooperation as part of its broader foreign policy objectives.
