We don’t acknowledge Jerry Rawlings' legacy enough. Not even the NDC does

Bobi Wine and his wife have been abducted and detained by the Ugandan Military just days after the Presidential Election.

Every day, I thank God that Jerry Rawlings, even at the height of his popularity and overwhelming control over the security forces in this Country, did not become a Museveni.

It is thanks to him, that Ghanaian Democracy lives on today. No matter how wobbly it moves.

We don’t acknowledge his legacy and contribution to Ghanaian democracy enough. Not even the NDC does. And that’s a shame.
