The State Visit culminated in the signing of ten (10) Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) between Ghana and Zambia, covering a range of key strategic sectors. The agreements are expected to deepen bilateral cooperation, enhance economic ties, and promote mutual development between the two countries.

During the visit, President Mahama engaged in bilateral discussions with President Hichilema, focusing on strengthening diplomatic relations, expanding trade and investment opportunities, and fostering collaboration in areas of shared interest.

The successful conclusion of the visit underscores Ghana’s commitment to strengthening regional partnerships and advancing South–South cooperation as part of its broader foreign policy objectives.
