Nestlé honours top contributors at 2025 Business Partners Conference in Ho

Nestlé Ghana Limited has honoured its business partners and distributors for their resilience, dedication, and contributions to the company’s continued growth during the 2025 Distributor Conference and Awards Night held at the Volta Serene Hotel in Ho.

The event brought together company executives, distributors, and media representatives to review achievements, discuss future strategies, and celebrate outstanding partners who had driven brand performance across the country.

Mrs Salomé Azevedo, Managing Director of Nestlé Ghana Limited, lauded the distributors for their steadfast partnership, saying their efforts had sustained the company through challenging economic times.

“Over the past years, we have witnessed extraordinary growth, even under very difficult circumstances. Together, we navigated challenges, embraced opportunities, and celebrated beautiful milestones,” she said to the press.

She described the distributors as “business partners in innovation and champions in the marketplace,” adding that Nestlé’s brands were not just products but represented a commitment to excellence and quality nutrition for all.

Mrs Azevedo reaffirmed the company’s commitment to sustainable growth, emphasising that Nestlé’s ambitions extended beyond profit to include investments in people, technology, and the environment.

“This means more volumes and higher market share, but it also means investment in technology to reduce costs and waste, in people through training, in our brands, and also in our planet,” she stated.

She announced that Nestlé Ghana would double its marketing budget in 2025 to enhance brand visibility and innovation while maintaining focus on social responsibility initiatives.

Highlighting the company’s community interventions, Mrs Azevedo mentioned several projects, including the construction of schools and boreholes, the installation of solar panels at its factory, plastic waste collection initiatives, and programmes supporting more than 18,000 cocoa farmers and 2,000 families through the income accelerator programme.

She added that in 2025 alone, the MILO Sports Programme had reached two million children across Ghana and reaffirmed Nestlé’s goal of operating fully on renewable energy by 2026.

Mr Jacob Odoi, the National Sales Manager of Nestlé Ghana, commended the distributors for their hard work and encouraged them to take the opportunity to relax and celebrate their achievements.

Awards were presented to top-performing distributors in eight categories, totalling 49 honours, with winners receiving plaques, cash prizes, and distribution trucks.

The event concluded with music, dining, and networking, as participants pledged renewed commitment to collaborate with Nestlé Ghana for even greater impact in the coming year.
