The Governing Board of Ho Teaching Hospital has paid separate courtesy calls on the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ho Municipality and the leadership of the Volta Development Forum (VDF) as part of efforts to strengthen partnerships and promote collaborative development.

During discussions with the Ho MCE, the Board highlighted the hospital’s role as a tertiary healthcare institution serving the Volta Region and other parts of the country, and stressed the need for stronger collaboration with local government to address healthcare infrastructure and service delivery challenges.

The Board also met with executives of the Volta Development Forum, where discussions focused on strategic partnerships to support the hospital’s growth agenda, improve healthcare access and mobilise resources for priority projects.

The hospital said both engagements reflected a shared commitment to enhancing healthcare outcomes and strengthening Ho Teaching Hospital’s position as a centre of excellence in healthcare, training and research.

The Ho MCE and the VDF leadership commended the Board for the initiative and pledged their support for the hospital’s efforts to provide quality patient-centred care.
