The former President also called on members and supporters of the New Patriotic Party to unite behind Dr. Bawumia, emphasizing that party cohesion will be crucial as the NPP prepares for the 2028 general elections. According to him, unity, discipline, and shared purpose remain the party’s strongest assets.

Dr. Bawumia’s victory in the primaries has been widely described as decisive, positioning him as the flagbearer of the NPP and the party’s leading candidate for the presidency. Party leaders and stakeholders across the country have since pledged their support, echoing calls for reconciliation and collective effort.
