Stanbic Bank Ghana's donate GH¢ 30,000 to LEKMA Hospital

The Transaction Banking Team of Ghana has demonstrated their commitment to community welfare by donating GH¢ 30,000 to the Gynecology and Maternity Ward of the Ledzokuku-Krowor Municipal Assembly (LEKMA) Hospital.

This generous contribution covered the medical expenses of 15 new mothers who were unable to settle their bills after childbirth, thereby facilitating their discharge from the hospital.

Kate Agamah, Head of Transaction Banking at , expressed the bank's dedication to giving back to society, emphasizing the importance of making a positive impact beyond regular banking activities. She highlighted the bank's belief in leaving a lasting impression on the community to foster national growth and development.

Dr. Akua Afriyie Gyimah-Asante, Medical Superintendent of LEKMA Hospital, conveyed deep appreciation for the donation, emphasizing its significant impact on women and their families. She lauded Stanbic Bank's continuous support and encouraged them to sustain their benevolent efforts.

The recipients of the donation also expressed heartfelt gratitude, acknowledging the immense difference it made in their lives. One new mother shared her challenging experience of being unable to settle her medical bills, which prevented her from leaving the hospital. She expressed overwhelming gratitude to Stanbic Bank for enabling her to reunite with her family and thanked them for their kindness.
