Sammy Gyamfi addresses speculation over reduced political visibility

Sammy Gyamfi has responded to growing public speculation about his perceived reduced presence in Ghana’s political space, assuring supporters that he remains fully active and committed behind the scenes.

In a recent statement, the National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) dismissed claims that his lower public profile signals disengagement from political work.

He explained that his current focus has shifted more toward strategic planning, internal party coordination, and policy-related engagements rather than frequent media appearances.

According to him, political effectiveness should not always be measured by visibility in the media, stressing that much of the critical work that drives party success happens outside the public eye.

He noted that his role requires balancing public communication with internal responsibilities that are essential for long-term political organization.

Gyamfi also hinted at a deliberate approach to communication, suggesting that timing and context are key in political messaging. He emphasized that he remains fully aligned with the party’s objectives and continues to contribute actively to its activities and preparations.

His comments come amid discussions among political observers and supporters who had questioned his relative silence in recent months, especially given his previously high-profile media presence.

Reassuring party faithful, Gyamfi maintained that his commitment to the NDC and its broader political agenda remains unchanged, adding that he will continue to serve in whatever capacity best advances the party’s goals.

The statement appears aimed at calming concerns while reinforcing the idea that influence in politics is not solely defined by constant public visibility but also by strategic input and organizational work behind the scenes.
