NDC’s Baidoo overtakes NPP’s Asumadu in Akwatia ahead of By-elections – Global InfoAnalytics survey

NDC's Nat Tetteh

With just three days to go before the crucial polls in Akwatia, a new survey suggests that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate, Baidoo, has overtaken the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Asumadu.

According to the findings shared by pollster and risk analyst Mussa K. Dankwah, Founder and CEO of DWA Risk Consulting Ltd & Global InfoAnalytics, Baidoo’s surge is being driven by strong support from voters seeking development as well as students in senior high schools and tertiary institutions, who prefer the NDC candidate by a significant margin.

Mr. Dankwah noted:

“Using the committed model, which is likely to be the minimum vote for Baidoo, the NDC candidate leads with 53%, while Asumadu of the NPP records 47%.”
