Bold To Defend, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), has stepped forward to aid education in the North Tongu District by providing teaching and learning materials to basic schools affected by the Akosombo Dam spillage.
The donation, comprising exercise books, pens, pencils, and footballs, aims to promote education and assist students in the district who were impacted by the spillage.
Mr. Umar Harris, an executive member of Bold To Defend, expressed the organization's commitment to enhancing the quality of education in the country. He emphasized the importance of supporting students affected by the Akosombo spillage to ensure they can continue their education without interruption.
Mr. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the Member of Parliament for the North Tongu Constituency, received the donated items on behalf of the schools. He expressed gratitude to Bold To Defend for their generous contribution and assured that the materials would be distributed to the students in the constituency, benefiting their educational pursuits.
