A key highlight of the camp was a visit to Red Clay Studio, where the girls observed how creativity and innovation can be turned into practical outcomes.
The participants also interacted with female mentors who shared experiences and encouraged them to pursue their aspirations with confidence.
The Director-General of GES, Prof. Kofi Davis, was represented by the Deputy Director-General (Quality and Access), Dr Issahaque Munawaru, who urged the girls to take STEM education seriously and assured them of GES support.
The Director of the Science Division, Mrs Olicia Opare, reaffirmed efforts to make STEM more inclusive and attractive to girls.
The Northern Regional Director of Education, Mr Alhassan Alidu Jnr., also attended to support the initiative.
At the end of the camp, Tamale Senior High School was awarded Overall Best School for its performance and commitment throughout the programme.
