Participants engaged in presentations and discussions focused on improving performance management systems within the public service, enhancing financial reporting procedures, and ensuring timely documentation of programmes.

The meeting also stressed the importance of aligning activities undertaken at regional offices with the broader strategic objectives of the Commission.

Officials further highlighted the need for the timely submission of programme reports, improved work plan development, and stronger communication between regional offices and the Commission’s headquarters to boost efficiency and accountability.

During the conference, participants were also briefed on upcoming national cultural initiatives, including the Student Drama Festival, which will be organised in collaboration with the Ghana Education Service and the National Theatre of Ghana.

The programme is aimed at nurturing creativity and developing theatrical talent among students across the country.

The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment by the Commission to promote Ghana’s rich cultural heritage while strengthening internal systems to deliver impactful cultural programmes nationwide.
