The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ghana has announced that the Ambassador of the Republic of Guinea to Ghana, Jean Matho Dore, has completed his tour of duty.
He formally informed the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, during a farewell call on April 13, 2026.

The Minister commended the Ambassador for strengthening relations between Ghana and Guinea, anchored in Pan-Africanism, and referenced the historical ties between Kwame Nkrumah and Ahmed Sékou Touré.
Ambassador Dore expressed appreciation to the Government and people of Ghana for their hospitality during his tenure. He also highlighted Guinea’s development plans under the Simandou 2040 programme and indicated interest in expanding cooperation with Ghana in education and agriculture.
Both sides noted increased private sector engagement during his tenure and expressed commitment to strengthening bilateral relations further.
