A delegation from Coca-Cola’s West Africa, Morocco, and Algeria (WAMA) region has met Ghana’s Minister for Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry, Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, to announce a significant new investment drive in Ghana.
The announcement is expected to be officially made at a conference in Accra from May 6-8, 2026, which will be attended by regional and global Coca-Cola leaders.

During a meeting on Thursday, April 16, 2026, in Accra, the Communications Director of WAMA Coca-Cola, Hon. David Appiah, said the company has long-term confidence in Ghana’s business environment and highlighted the Ministry’s role in investment coordination across sectors, including finance, health, and environment.
He noted that Coca-Cola contributed GHS 1.28 billion to the Ghanaian economy in 2024 and has created thousands of jobs, with the new investment aimed at strengthening its operations in the country.
The Minister, Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, welcomed the expansion and stated that Ghana’s stable economy and strategic location make it an ideal investment base in Africa.
Separately, the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) delegation also met the Minister to announce plans for the 2nd ICC African Sustainable Supply Chain Summit, scheduled for October 12-13, 2026, in Tema.
The ICC Secretary-General, Hon. Emmanuel Dhoni-Kwame, said the summit will focus on sustainable supply chains and economic resilience across Africa.
