In the women's singles quarterfinals, Egyptian players Alhodaby Mariam, Goda Hana, and Yousra Helmy secured victories over their opponents from Tunisia, Ghana, and Uganda, respectively, with a 3-0 aggregate scoreline.
Algeria's Mobarek Lucie and Loghraibi Lynda defeated opponents from Madagascar and Mauritius 3-1, while Cameroonian Sarah Hanffou and Nigerian Edem Offiong also advanced with victories over their respective opponents.
In the men's singles category, Nigerian Aruna Quadri, a two-time silver medalist, defeated Algerian Ouaiche Stephane 3-1 to advance to the quarterfinal stage. Defending champion Omotayo Olajide of Nigeria also secured a 3-0 victory over his Tunisian opponent, while Senegalese Diaw Ibrahima defeated Shouman Mohamed of Egypt 3-1 to qualify for the last 16.
Egyptian players Assar Khalid, El-Beiali Mohamed, and Abddel-Aziz Youssef advanced to the quarterfinal stage after defeating opponents from North Africa with 3-0 and 3-1 aggregate scores. Additionally, Congo Brazzaville's Idowu Saheed secured a 3-0 victory over his Tunisian opponent to reach the quarterfinals.
